Adventure out with your family to various local wild spaces to connect and learn about the wilderness!
The schedule of each day follows this outline:
- Morning informal time: games, crafts, skills
- Opening circle and lesson or a short game
- Snack and story time
- Big group game
- Lunch
- Choice based activities (go as a family or separate and try out different ones!)
- Closing circle
The activities we offer during a typical day range from relaxed to more energy-intensive options and can include:
- Crafts
- Cooking over the BBQ
- Camping and survival skills
- Making music
- Wandering
- Animal tracking
- Orientation in the woods
- Group challenges and missions
Schedule and Location:
The program will take place on Sundays from 10am to 3pm in 3 different locations:
- Jardins Carya: an organic farm in the West Island.
- Angrignon park: an amazing urban park with so much life to explore.
- Kahnawake: Kawisente’s amazing forest where we can learn about her culture and the incredible land land.
Here’s the schedule and location for the fall dates:
- September 14th: Jardins Carya
- October 25th: Parc Angrignon
- November 16th: Kahnawake
- December 7th: Kahnawake
How registration works:
You can sign up for one day at a time, or for the whole season for a reduced price.
Click on the dates on the calendar at the bottom of the registration page if you want to come to specific days.
Price:
300$ +tx per family for 4 sessions
95$ +tx per family for 1 session (drop in)
(1 family = 1 household)
A welcome document will be sent a week before the first day of the program with specific details.
